Description
Jaltest ADAS Diagnostics Solution Kit for Commercial Vehicles ÔÇö COJ29805 (New Customers)
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems are no longer an optional add-on for commercial vehicles ÔÇö they’re factory-standard equipment. Forward collision mitigation, lane-departure alerts, adaptive cruise, blind-spot detection: every truck and bus rolling into your bay is likely running at least one of these systems. Daimler Trucks data from 2018 already showed nearly 75% of heavy trucks equipped with camera-monitoring systems ÔÇö and penetration has increased steadily since. Shops that can’t service, diagnose, and calibrate ADAS are handing that work to competitors.
The Jaltest ADAS Diagnostics Solution Kit (COJ29805) is Cojali’s purpose-built entry point for shops new to the Jaltest platform. Unlike light-vehicle ADAS solutions adapted for commercial use, this kit is engineered specifically for heavy trucks and buses from the ground up. It combines the Jaltest Link V9 diagnostic interface, ADAS calibration software activation, a one-year license, and all the physical calibration hardware required to perform both static and dynamic procedures ÔÇö delivered as a single, coordinated package.
What’s in the Box
- 50001008 ÔÇö ADAS Support Structure for Calibration Panels: A portable workshop frame that holds target panels at the precise position and height required for static calibrations. Adjustable and engineered specifically for commercial vehicle work.
- 50001003 ÔÇö Radar Calibration Kit for Truck & Bus: Targets and tooling built for heavy-duty radar sensor calibration. This is not a repurposed light-vehicle kit ÔÇö it was designed for the commercial segment from day one.
- 50001010 ÔÇö Bendix Wingman Fusion Panel: A dedicated calibration target for the Bendix Wingman Fusion system, one of the most widely deployed ADAS packages on Class 8 trucks operating in North America.
- 50001007 ÔÇö Laser Wheel Alignment Tools (2 units): Accurate vehicle positioning ahead of static calibrations depends on proper alignment tooling ÔÇö not improvised shop equipment. These units are included so the job is done right from the start.
- 70001026 ÔÇö Jaltest Link V9 Bundle (without multipin): Jaltest’s current-generation PC-to-vehicle diagnostic interface, providing scanning capability, live data access, and guided step-by-step calibration procedures.
- 29786 ÔÇö Software Activation, Jaltest ADAS Calibration System: The initial activation for the ADAS calibration module within the Jaltest software platform.
- 29787 ÔÇö One-Year License, Jaltest ADAS Calibration System: Twelve months of access to ADAS calibration procedures, guided workflows, and calibration report generation. Renewal and upgrade to the three-year license (29788) are available separately.
Static vs. Dynamic Calibration ÔÇö What This Kit Covers
ADAS calibration procedures fall into two distinct categories. This kit supports both:
- Static calibration takes place inside the shop. The vehicle is placed on a level surface, target panels and the support structure are positioned at manufacturer-specified distances and heights, and the Jaltest software guides your technician through each step of the procedure. Success depends on a controlled environment: consistent lighting, a level floor, and correct panel placement. The physical equipment included in this kit provides exactly that.
- Dynamic calibration is performed on the road. The vehicle is driven at a specified speed over a defined distance under controlled conditions while the ADAS system recalibrates using live sensor input. This procedure requires the Jaltest diagnostic software and a proper road test ÔÇö no additional physical targets are necessary.
When Does a Vehicle Need ADAS Calibration?
- After windshield replacement (cameras are frequently mounted to or directly behind the glass)
- After any body repair affecting the windshield or the mounting points for ADAS sensors
- After wheel alignment, particularly when combined with windshield replacement
- After tire size changes that alter vehicle geometry as interpreted by the sensors
- After suspension work that modifies ride height or axle angles
Any of these events has the potential to take an ADAS system out of calibration spec. A forward collision system running on stale calibration data may react too slowly ÔÇö or fail to react at all. Shops performing glass work, alignment, or collision repair that lack calibration capability are either declining that work or passing liability down the line.
Who This Kit Is For
COJ29805 is configured for shops that do not yet own Jaltest hardware or a Jaltest software subscription. If Jaltest Link hardware and a software license are already in your shop, a separate ADAS add-on path exists ÔÇö contact ADAS Calibration Tools and we’ll identify exactly what your setup requires versus what you’d be duplicating. For a shop building out commercial-vehicle ADAS capability on the Jaltest platform from scratch, this kit consolidates the hardware, the calibration frame and targets, and the first twelve months of software access into a single purchase.
It’s the right fit for shops servicing Class 6ÔÇô8 trucks, transit buses, or coach fleets where systems from Bendix, Mobileye, Wabco, and similar manufacturers are routine. If commercial vehicles move through your bays regularly and you’re performing glass replacement, alignment, or post-collision repair, this is the calibration capability your operation needs to keep that work in-house.
