The TEXA Night Vision Target for VAG Group vehicles is a manufacturer-specific calibration panel built for use with the TEXA RCCS (Radar & Camera Calibration System). It restores correct operation to infrared night vision cameras following service on Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, SEAT, or Škoda vehicles. If your shop services VAG vehicles equipped with night vision assist, this is the panel required to perform that calibration properly.

What This Panel Does

VAG vehicles with night vision assist rely on a forward-facing infrared camera to identify pedestrians, animals, and road hazards that fall outside the illumination range of standard headlights. Like every ADAS sensor, this camera must be recalibrated any time it has been disturbed ÔÇö whether by a windshield replacement, front-end repair, camera removal and reinstallation, or suspension and ride-height work that alters the vehicle’s forward geometry.

When calibration is skipped or incomplete, the night vision system may generate false alerts, fail to detect hazards at the appropriate distance, or shut itself down entirely.
