Description
TEXA Front Video Camera Calibration Panel for Honda Type 2 ÔÇö with Bubble Level (SKU: 3907918)
Designed for use with the TEXA RCCS (Radar & Camera Calibration System), this OEM-specific target panel handles front-facing video camera calibration on Honda vehicles that require the Type 2 panel configuration. Any shop performing windshield replacements, front camera R&R, or front-end collision repairs on Honda models equipped with this camera system will find this panel to be a mandatory component ÔÇö accurate ADAS calibration simply cannot be completed without the correct manufacturer-specified target.
Important: Support Kit 3916839 (sold separately) is required for this panel. That kit supplies the mounting hardware and frame attachment hardware necessary to correctly position this panel on the RCCS calibration structure. Confirm you have the support kit ÔÇö or are ordering it alongside this panel ÔÇö before placing your order.
What This Panel Does
Honda’s front video camera system ÔÇö which powers Lane Keeping Assist, Collision Mitigation Braking, Road Departure Mitigation, and Adaptive Cruise Control on applicable models ÔÇö must be physically recalibrated whenever the camera has been disturbed. Scenarios that trigger this requirement include:
- Windshield replacement (the camera mounts to the glass or a bracket directly behind it)
- Camera removal for any reason ÔÇö bracket repairs, electrical diagnosis, or body work
- Front-end collision repairs that affect camera aim or mounting position
- Suspension or alignment work that alters vehicle ride height or thrust angle on affected models
During calibration, this target panel is positioned at an OEM-specified distance and height in front of the vehicle and presented to the camera while TEXA IDC5 software guides the technician through the manufacturer-defined calibration routine via a TEXA Navigator interface (NANO S or TXT). The bubble level built into the panel is critical: the target must be perfectly plumb before calibration begins. A tilted or misaligned panel produces an inaccurate calibration ÔÇö and an inaccurate calibration means ADAS functions that fail to trigger correctly in the field.

Which Shops Need This
If your shop runs a TEXA RCCS system and handles any meaningful volume of Honda work ÔÇö whether you’re a general repair facility, a Honda/Acura specialist, or a collision center ÔÇö this panel should be part of your calibration target inventory. Honda’s ADAS camera calibration procedure does not accept a generic or wrong-type panel as a substitute. The Type 2 designation is Honda-specific; before ordering, verify with us or your TEXA representative that this is the correct panel for the Honda models in your service mix.
If you haven’t yet deployed a TEXA RCCS system and are evaluating whether to build out an ADAS calibration service, reach out to ADAS Calibration Tools. We can help you determine which RCCS structure, software subscription tier, and panel kit aligns with your vehicle mix and service volume.
